The Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) conferred the C. W. Watson Award upon Bob Duncan during their 75th annual meeting, held Oct. 17-20 in Roanoke, Virginia. The award is the highest honor bestowed by the Association and presented in conjunction with the Southern Division of the American Fisheries Society and the Southeastern Section of The Wildlife Society.

The Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (SEAFWA) recognized the Virginia Department of Wildlife Resources (VDWR) for its workforce diversity and inclusion efforts and the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources (SCDNR) for its outreach and education diversity and inclusion efforts during SEAFWA's 75th annual meeting, held in Roanoke Oct. 17-20.

The Annual Conference of the Southeastern Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies is a forum for the exchange of ideas and critical information regarding the management and protection of fish and wildlife resources primarily in the southeast. The conference attracts over 500 representatives from state and federal agencies, citizens' organizations, universities, and private wildlife research groups, fisheries and wildlife scientists, agency enforcement personnel, and other natural resource-related organizations.
