Energy Balance as a Criterion for Acquiring Deer Management Areas
A FORTRAN IV model of the inter- and intra-seasonal energy flow through deer populations was developed for evaluating the potential biological productivity ofland for deer. The productivity per unit cost is suggested as a means for evaluating land being considered for acquisition for deer management areas.
