SEAFWA WEBSITE REDESIGNED

The SEAFWA website has been redesigned and has a total new look, as well as added information. The new design features photographs for member agencies depicting many of their personnel at work. Committee listings and other information has been updated and will be easier to access. Proceedings have been added and may now be search by article, author, abstract, subject or keyword.

SEAFWA AWARDS 2009

The 2009 SEAFWA Wildlife Biologist of the Year award recipient was Keith Hudson of the Alabama Department of Natural Resources and Conservation, Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division.

The 2009 SEAFWA Fisheries Biologist of the Year award recipient was Keith Ashley of the North Carolina Wildife Resources Commission.

The 2009 SEAFWA Officer of the Year was Officer Phillip Earhart of the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency.

The most prestigious award given by the SEAFWA is the C. W. Watson Award. The 2009 Watson Award recipient was J. Whitfield (Whit) Gibbons, Professor Emeritus of Ecology, University of Georgia
